ITV BME Placement Scheme

ITV run a Foundation Placement Scheme, which is a one-year paid placement scheme for those from an Ethnic Minority background. Its aim is to give individuals the opportunity to compete fairly for openings within the media industry.

Programme Director (BME VCS Regional Panel Programme)

NJC equivalent pt 38-41 (£30,598 - £33,291 per annum)
5% pension contribution, 35 hours per week.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated team player to deliver outcomes for a project that strengthens BME voice in Yorkshire & the Humber. The programme is a partnership between the BME VCS Regional Panel and the Regional Forum.

Both the Panel and the Forum plays key and expanding roles in the region, promoting the influence, contribution and role of the voluntary & community sector.

The primary focus of this role will be to support a co-ordinated regional voice for the black and minority ethnic (BME) voluntary and community sector (VCS), that speaks for the interests of the BME sector at local and regional levels.

Cultural Leadership Programme, Powerbrokers International Leadership Placements in South East Asia

The Cultural Leadership Programme (CLP) is a two-year Treasury funded investment to promote excellence in leadership across the creative and cultural industries.

The Powerbrokers strand of the CLP is offering a series of unique Leadership training placements in Hong Kong, Singapore and China. The placements are designed for emerging and mid-stages cultural and creative industry leaders of black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds seeking to extend their leadership practice and experience(1). All placements are offered with a bursary of up to £15,000.

There are currently five placement opportunities through out East Asia.

ADMINISTRATOR (Maternity Cover)
(14 hours per week: £18,907 pro rata)

Leeds Connecting Communities, a development agency for Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary and community organisations, seeks a part-time Administrator as maternity cover until the end of November 2008.

You will have skills and experience to provide high quality administrative support to the organisation. A secondment will be considered.
